Travel Directions

The Double Eagle is situated in the center of Haldern. Haldern is part of
the town of Rees, in the District of Kleve. Located right next to the Village Church,
our Hotel and Restaraunt has been here since 1711, and can be found very easily using the
Church Tower, which can be seen before you even enter the village. We have an excellent rating.

A3 from Oberhausen:

Exit at  "Hamminkeln" – take the left exit –  1.
Turn right at the traffic lights – follow the main road for about another 4.5 km
Turn at "Haldern 7 km" – drive right up to the town – to
the left hand junction

A 57 in the direction of Krefeld to Nijmegen:

Exit
Alps – links from Wesel in the B 58 direction – drive straight ahead until you reach
the Rhine Bridge – 1. Turn left at the traffic lights in the direction of Emmerich/Rees – stay on the B8
until you reach Old Haldern – turn right before you reach the pedestrian crossing, and
Bahnhofstraße will take you right up to the Double Eagle.

A3 from Arnheim:

Exit
Rees – head right for Bocholt – turn right after about 2 km 
in the Haldern direction- follow the road signs to the village
marked on the left side
